Chartered Doctor of Business Administration (CDBA)  

Candidates must have been awarded a DBA or PhD. in Management by an organisation recognized by the Membership committee as being of a sufficiently high standard.

Chartered  Doctor of Supply Chain Management

Candidates must have been awarded a DBA or PhD. in Supply Chain Management by an organisation recognized by the Membership committee as being of a sufficiently high standard. or Masters degree in  Supply Chain Management with 15 years of managerial experience.

Chartered  Doctor of Logistics & Procurement Management

Candidates must have been awarded a DBA or PhD. in Supply Chain Management or Logistics by an organisation recognized by the Membership committee as being of a sufficiently high standard. or Masters degree in  Supply Chain Management or Logistics with 15 years of managerial experience.

Chartered  Doctor of Project Management

Candidates must have been awarded a DBA or PhD. in Project Management or Engineering by an organisation recognized by the Membership committee as being of a sufficiently high standard. or Masters degree in  Project Management or Engineering with 15 years of managerial experience.

Chartered  Doctor of Human Resource Management

Candidates must have been awarded a DBA or PhD. in Human Resource Management  by an organisation recognized by the Membership committee as being of a sufficiently high standard. or Masters degree in  Human Resource Management  with 15 years of managerial experience.

Chartered  Doctor of Financial And Management Accounting

Candidates must have been awarded a DBA or PhD. in Accounting or Finance by an organisation recognized by the Membership committee as being of a sufficiently high standard. or MBA with 15 years of managerial experience.

Chartered Master of Business Administration (CMBA) 

Candidates must have been awarded an MBA by an organisation recognized by the membership committee as being of a sufficiently high standard.

Chartered Master of Management (CMMgt) 

Candidates must have been awarded a Masters Degree in a management subject by an organisation recognized by the membership committee as being of sufficiently high standard.



Chartered Doctor of Public Administration (CDPA)  

Candidates must have been awarded a Masters Degree in public administration  by an organisation recognized by the Membership committee as being of a sufficiently high standard, a not less than 15 years public administration experience

Chartered Director (CDir.) 

Awarded to candidates in possession of a Masters and above qualification who can also provide evidence of at least 20 years managerial experience in a senior position. It is likely that candidates for this award will also be interviewed by the awarding committee at their discretion.

 Applicants will be assessed on their education, training, knowledge, skill and experience (K.S.E.) and responsibility.

System - Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

 

 

The main principle of Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) system focuses on the outcomes rather than how, when or where the learning occurred. It gives you credit for skills and knowledge acquired at school, at work and at home, or through clubs, hobbies and other activities.

 

Through the RPL assessment, assessment could demonstrate that his/her working experience or prior knowledge has reached the level under qualification framework which is equivalent to a certain relevant academic level and can excel well in his/her career.

 

The Institute facilitates the progression of students through qualifications by giving credit for learning outcomes they already have achieved. Credit outcomes may allow for entry into a qualification and/or provide credit towards the qualification. Credit given may reduce the time required for a student to achieve the qualification.

 

This is underpinned by the Institute's definition of credit as follows:

 

Credit is the value assigned for the recognition of equivalence in content and learning outcomes between different types of learning and/or qualifications. Credit reduces the amount of learning required to achieve a qualification and may be through credit transfer, articulation, recognition of prior learning or advanced standing.

 

 

 

Why RPL is Important?

 

 

RPL is important in many ways:

 

  • It means that your previous work experience, knowledge and skills are formally recognized
  • It prevents you having to undergo training or instruction in areas that you are already familiar with or competent in
  • It can reduce the amount of time it takes you to secure a full qualification
